Customers travel from far and wide to taste the delicacies this busy bakery produces.

All breads, pastries and delicious treats are baked in the original Scotch woodfired oven.

As you walk into the bakery you are greeted by pies, sausage rolls, mini pizzas, cookies, slices, cakes, lamingtons, eclairs, doughnuts, cupcakes, bread, wraps and rolls - everything your heart desires!

We indulged in a number of sweet treats and we are pleased to report they tasted as good as they looked!

Rustic Bakehouse produces a number of impressive-looking doughnuts so we settled on the lemon meringue doughnut, which was amazing.

Topped with torched meringue and filled with tangy lemon curd, this doughnut was a delight to eat. The lemon curd cut through the richness of this light and fluffy doughnut.

The custard and cream choux bun was light and creamy, without being too sweet. This generous pastry  could easily be shared between a couple of people!

The individual mudcake was rich, moist and decadent and wore a white chocolate ganache crown proudly.

We also bought a mini apple crumble which we took home and enjoyed warm with a healthy scoop of ice cream.

The fine, buttery crumble had a subtle crunchiness which contrasted beautifully with the tart apple filling.

Rustic Bakehouse has an indoor dining area as well as a casual outdoor dining area out the front of the bakery where diners can either enjoy one of the many ready-made treats displayed in the bakery or a meal from the dine-in menu.

Dogs are welcome to accompany their humans in the outdoor dining area.

We ordered 'Rustic's Big Breakfast' and an avo smash for breakfast one sunny morning.

Rustic's Big Breakfast was exactly that - a hearty plate of toast, poached eggs, hash browns, bacon, mushrooms, grilled tomato, baked beans and sausage.

The avo smash was delicious. Crumbled feta was folded through the smashed avocado, which gave it a lovely salty flavour.
