Skippers offers an array of cooked-to-order seafood, as well as freshy local oysters and fresh seafood that you can cook at home.
Skippers has views of the water and boats, so the boardwalk area and neighbouring grassy areas are lovely spots to eat your meal.
The seafood is excellent quality and the cooked meals are cooked to perfection.
We've enjoyed a number of meals from Skippers, and each time the seafood has been treated with great respect. It's easy to see why Skippers is always busy.
The staff are friendly and efficient, so you never have to wait long for your order.
The battered fish is always juicy and flaky while the crumbed calamari are tender and generous in size.
The crumbed or battered coating is crispy and adds great texture.
Our favourite dish on the menu is the Skippers chowder.
We've eaten lots of chowders and this one is our favourite! It's thick, creamy and jam-packed with seafood.
The chowder is a great dish for those wanting something warming on a chilly day or a dish that isn't fried.
