Top Camp - Mount William National Park

 


Top Camp Campground is a stunning beach camping area located in the Mount William Nation Park. Mount William Nation Park is located 160km North-East of Launceston. Travel to Musselroe Bay and there is a turnoff to the right, after Swan Street, that is labelled to take you to Top Camp. Follow this gravel road all the way to the end which is Top Camp Campground.


Being a National Park, you need a parks pass to enter and there is an additional charge if you plan to stay overnight. Pets aren't permitted in this part of the National Park.


The site is relatively flat which allows for all forms of camping, whether you're in a tent or a fully self-contained caravan. The turning circle is also large which will allow plenty of room for the bigger rig setups. There is also a toilet and picnic tables available.


The beach is incredible and only 100m from where you'll be camping. It is subjected to wind at times so it's nice to have the dune between the beach and your campsite. Photos don't really do this location justice therefore we advice you check out our YouTube video of this location:
