Stewarts Bay Lodge
Stewarts Bay Lodge is set in a natural bushland setting, nestled amongst the trees and is a great place to base yourself if you're exploring the Tasman Peninsula.
The cabins and chalets blend in well with the natural environment and are very private and tranquil.
There are a number of cabins and chalets you can choose to stay in, some with bushland views and others with water views.
We stayed in a deluxe spa chalet with bushland views and it was very well-appointed, spacious and modern.
It was well-equipped with a full kitchen (complete with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, pots, pans, utensils), indoor dining table, lounge room with television and a lovely outdoor deck with outdoor seating.
The bedroom had a comfy king-size bed and spa ensuite.
Each room had gorgeous views of the bush, even the spa bath had views!
There was also a washing machine, clothes dryer, ironing board and hair dryer, which was a great touch.
There's plenty to do while staying at Stewarts Bay Lodge - you can go for a wander around the beautiful, peaceful property, stroll down to the beach or walk along the Stewarts Bay Walking Track.
With an onsite picnic area with barbeques, a tennis court and a playground for the kids, you don't even need to leave the accommodation site!
The picnic area was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
And if you don't feel like cooking, you can pop over to the onsite restaurant "On The Bay" and enjoy the lovely filtered views of the water, delicious food and cosy wood fire. Our review of "On The Bay" will be the subject of a separate review.
The cute road names within the Stewarts Bay Lodge site were a gorgeous touch.
