Southport Caravan Park
The powered sites are generous in size and have a combination concrete slab / grass base.
The unpowered sites are located under the shade of the trees next to the creek and are absolutely beautiful.
If you are looking to sit back, relax and take in the beautiful native bushland, we suggest you stay in the unpowered sites.
The amenities are dated, but very clean and the coin-operated showers are wonderfully hot with great pressure.
The park has a simple camp kitchen which contains a fridge, barbeque, sink, kettle and toaster.
The kitchen has open sides to allow you to enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
The park's laundry has coin operated washing machines, a coin operated clothes dryer and an iron with small ironing board.
The park is pet friendly and there's plenty of lush-green open space for your four-legged friends to explore (while on a lead).
The best thing about Southport Caravan Park is that it forms part of the Southport Hotel which serves generous, hearty meals.
Firepots are permitted and there are a number of pots scattered throughout the park however if you'd prefer to warm your toes next to an indoor fire, the hotel has not one, but two wood fires! Bringing your own pot is also permitted.
The Southport Hotel and Caravan Park complex also has a small general store allowing guests to purchase groceries, takeaway meals and fuel.
