Goblin Forest Trail

PUFF-O-METRE

Overview

Blue Tier Forest Reserve is the hub location to start off from when experiencing a whole range of hiking and mountain biking trails. There is a wheelchair friendly bathroom facility beside the main carpark. There are also multiple toilet facilities near the mountain bike trail head.

Goblin Forest trail is an easy 400-metre circuit walk that is wheelchair friendly and perfect for the entire family. There are informational displays that teach you about the area's mining history as you meander through a rainforest that has been regenerating since tin mining destroyed the area more than a century ago.

While this walk does not offer much of a challenge, the emergency shelter at the trailhead features barbecue pits and a picnic table, which makes it a great spot for a home base while exploring the Blue Tier Forest Reserve.
