Port Cygnet Wildlife Sanctuary

PUFF-O-METRE

Overview

This is a lovely coastal walk that takes you from the outskirts of Cygnet village to the Port Cygnet Sailing Club. Along the way you'll be walking on a combination of smooth gravel track and wooden boardwalk.

The track is wide and smooth enough for all types of activities from walking to bike riding to prams or even wheelchairs. The track is dotted with places to stop for a rest whether it's on a park bench or picnic tables.

Dogs are permitted on most of the track, except those parts that are within the designated wildlife sanctuary. There is a small section that they aren't allowed on which is the parklands where the play equipment is. This area can be avoided by sticking to the footpaths instead which allows your best friend to continue walking with you.

There are public toilets at either end of the trail. One set at the Port Cygnet Sailing Club and the other is a very flash new block in the wildlife sanctuary.
