Mickeys Beach Track

PUFF-O-METRE

Overview

Heading South-East out of Cygnet, travel along the Channel Highway for 11km. Take the right hand turnoff down Randalls Bay Road until you pass the beach and find a parking area on the left just before the road turns right and heads up the hill.

The main track is well signposted and starts with a series of steps to help you negotiate the hill however before heading up that path, it's worth taking the left hand track first. This track follows the coastline for about 200m and shows some spectacular views while also having spots of sandstone that have been carved out by the weather. Follow this track till it meets the low cliffs and then head back to the start of Mickeys Track.

Once onto Mickeys Beach Track, after you've negotiated the stairs to the top of the hill, you'll follow a flat section for a few hundred metres. Then you'll be met by a fork in the track. The left track is well worth a look as it takes you out to the point for some 270 degree water views. Return back to the fork and follow this track all the way to Mickeys Beach. The beach is accessed by a further 50 steps down to the water.
