Maxs Infinity Loop

PUFF-O-METRE

OVERVIEW

Maxs Infinity Loop is located about two-thirds of the way up Queens Domain and can be accessed from a number of locations. We parked near the twin ovals next to the athletics track which has a sitting area on the track as well as access to a water fountain to either drink directly out of or to fill up your drink bottle after each lap.

The track is accessible for all ages, abilities, fitness levels and workout requirements. At any time you can come across a parent pushing a pram or a cyclist or a sprinter in training. This track allows for all of these activities and more.

There is a section that branches off to either continue on tarmac for a couple hundred metres or you can take the bush track that then rejoins the tarmac track. The bush section allows for a little challenge due to the wave effect that you negotiate whereas the tarmac track continues as a flat path for cycling and other forms of transportation on wheels.

There is also a section of the track that has a pine bark track parallel with the tarmac track. This allows for those walkers and runners that prefer a softer surface to travel along. The track gives you an almost 360 degree of Hobart and the surrounding suburbs along with a fantastic view of Mt Wellington.
