Swansea Holiday Park is a beachside holiday park located in Swansea on the east coast of Tasmania, approximately 135km north-east of Hobart and approximately 154km south-east of Launceston.

With direct beach access to Schouten Beach and views over to Freycinet, this very well maintained holiday park offers an array of different sized cabins and powered sites for caravans and motorhomes.

The powered sites and areas in between the cabins are lovely and grassy, so to ensure these areas are kept in tip-top condition for guests, the holiday park does not permit tents, soft floor camper trailers or swags.

Probably the most exciting feature of Swansea Holiday Park (for people with fur children) is that pets are welcome on the powered sites and in the one and two bedroom pet friendly cabins! A maximum of two pets are allowed, but we loved this point of difference because pets are part of the family and it's great to have the option of including them in your adventures.

The amenities in this holiday park are great - the toilets and showers are modern and really clean, there are coin-operated washing machines and clothes dryers available for use, a communal gas barbeque area with undercover shelter and a communal kitchen and loungeroom with couches, chairs and tables and a television.

The loveliest touch of all is the communal veggie garden where guests are welcome to help themselves to the seasonal herbs and vegetables.

  Drift Away Organic Shack is a peaceful retreat for two located in Police Point, approximately 73km south of Hobart. Ideal for a couple, this cute studio has stunning views of the Huon River. The shack is located on the owner's residential property, but as the main house is set well behind the shack, the house and its inhabitants go unnoticed.  Crescent Bay, Mount Brown and Remarkable Cave PUFF-O-METRE   THEN OVERVIEW This is a beautiful day walk that follows some rugged coast line, stunning views and ends at a gorgeous beach with huge dunes. It starts at a large carpark, but it needs to be as this area is a very popular location. The carpark has a lovely viewing platform for some of the coastal cliffs. It also has shelter and public toilets available. Before setting off towards Crescent Bay, it's worth the ten minute delay to head down the staircase to enjoy the view at the Remarkable Cave. It's a bit like a horizontal blowhole however it's far more open therefore you don't get the big burst of water upwards. With that done, it's time to head along the other track towards Crescent Bay. This track is a bit up and down however the elevation doesn't change more than 20m so at no stage does it feel overwhelming.
