Table Cape Lighthouse & Table Cape Tulip Farm

Table Cape Tulip Farm and Table Cape Lighthouse are located 5km from the pretty town of Wynyard, in North-West Tasmania and 170km North-West of Launceston.

Table Cape Lighthouse stands proudly on the cliff edge overlooking Bass Strait. Tours of the Lighthouse are offered seasonally.

There is also a short 1.8km return dog friendly clifftop walk from the Lighthouse to a nearby lookout that offers spectacular views of the coastline on a clear day. The lookout can also be accessed by vehicle if preferred.

Each year, in late September to late October, hectares of tulips burst through the red volcanic soil into bloom at Table Cape Tulip Farm, creating a rainbow of colours overlooking the Lighthouse and Bass Strait.

Visitors to the Tulip Farm can wander the rows of tulips (with their four-legged friends!), take spectacular photos and, with the assistance of QR codes marking each variety in the field, purchase their favourite bulbs from Van Diemen Quality Bulbs on their way out.
